Good morning/afternoon/evening. Welcome to the Recovery Central Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. My name is XXX and I am an alcoholic. After a moment of silence, please join me in the Serenity Prayer.
Out of respect for everyone in the meeting, please put yourself on “mute” at all times when you are not speaking to the entire group. Please remember why we are here.
1. I asked ________ to read the Preamble. 2. I asked _______to read the 12 Traditions.
3. I asked ________ to read How It Works. 4. I asked _______ to read The 9th Step Promises.
Recovery Central has begun to open the hall for some in person meetings which will also be available on zoom. A full and comprehensive meeting schedule is available on the Recovery Central Website.
This is an open meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. We are glad you are here – especially newcomers.
In keeping with our singleness of purpose and our Third Tradition which states that “The only requirement for AA membership is a desire to stop drinking,” we ask that all who participate confine their discussion to their problems and solutions to alcoholism.
Our 7th Tradition states: we ought to be fully self-supporting declining outside contributions. Recovery Central depends upon your donations to meet our financial responsibilities. Please keep this in mind during this difficult time. Donations can be sent via Venmo by searching @recoverycentral in the Venmo app or checks can be sent to the address listed on the Recovery Central website. All money will go to the 7th tradition unless otherwise indicated.
If you have an upcoming sobriety birthday please let the secretary know or send a message through the contact page @ recovery-tracy.com so we can add it to the birthday calendar.
Are there any AA related announcements from the floor?
